It applies to the LEMOON mobile applications, website, Creator Dashboard, and other Services operated by LEMOON.

Creator information

Creators may provide additional information, including their bio, social links, website, series information, covers, descriptions, and other Content.

Creators participating in monetization may also be required to provide identity, contact, tax, and payout information where necessary.

If you contact us or submit a report, copyright complaint, counter-notice, or other legal request, we may collect the information you provide, including your contact details, messages, attachments, supporting information, and documents.

2.2. Information Collected Automatically

When you use LEMOON, we may automatically collect:

  • device and operating-system information;
  • browser or app version;
  • IP address and approximate country based on IP;
  • crash logs and diagnostics;
  • reading activity and progress;
  • likes, comments, bookmarks, and library activity;
  • searches;
  • Creator Dashboard activity;
  • time spent using parts of the Services;
  • Virtual Item balances and purchase-related events.

This information helps us operate, secure, personalize, and improve LEMOON.

Purchases

LEMOON does not store your full payment card details.

Purchases may be processed through providers such as Apple App Store, Google Play Store, Stripe, or PayPal.

We may receive information necessary to validate and manage a transaction, such as a transaction identifier, the digital item or product purchased, and the purchase status.

2.3. Cookies and Similar Technologies

On the web version of LEMOON, we use cookies and similar technologies, including web beacons, pixels, and tags, to operate the Services, maintain sessions, understand usage, and improve performance.

We use services such as Google Analytics and PostHog.

  • validating purchases and providing digital Content or access;
  • supporting Creator monetization and payouts;
  • personalizing Content discovery and recommendations;
  • responding to support requests;
  • sending service-related communications;
  • sending optional marketing communications where permitted;
  • preventing fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
  • enforcing our Terms of Service and Content & Community Guidelines;
  • understanding usage, performance, and technical issues;
  • complying with legal, accounting, tax, and reporting obligations.

We do not use precise location or sensitive personal data for personalization.

Depending on the processing involved, we rely on our agreement with you, our legitimate interests in operating and protecting LEMOON, your consent where required, or our legal obligations.

Information you intentionally make public through profiles, comments, Creator Content, or other public areas of LEMOON may be accessible to other Users or visitors.

We may disclose information where necessary to comply with the law, respond to valid legal requests, protect LEMOON or its Users, prevent fraud or abuse, or enforce our policies.

Information submitted as part of a copyright complaint, counter-notice, or similar legal process may be shared with affected parties where necessary to process the request.

We may share information when you ask us to do so, connect an external service, or otherwise provide consent where required.

5. Data Retention

Most Account information is retained while your Account remains active.

  • Creator payouts;
  • fraud prevention and security;

When information is no longer required, it may be deleted or anonymized. Anonymized information may continue to be used for analytics, product improvement, and statistical purposes.

Many Account and privacy settings can be managed directly through LEMOON.

Deleting Your Account

You can delete your Account at any time through the Services or by contacting us.

When you delete your Account:

  • your Account and associated personal data will be deleted or anonymized, except for information we are required to retain;
  • your reading history and saved comics will be lost and cannot be recovered or transferred;
  • if you are a Creator, your published comics and drafts will be deleted and your Creator Profile will be removed.

Account deletion cannot be undone.

8. How We Protect Your Data

LEMOON uses administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or misuse.

These measures may include access controls, authentication, encryption in transit, appropriate permissions, security monitoring, and regular maintenance.

No online service can guarantee absolute security.

You are also responsible for keeping your Account credentials private and taking reasonable steps to protect your Account.

9. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our Services, data practices, or applicable requirements.

When we update it, we will revise the Last Updated date at the top of this Policy and may provide additional notice where appropriate.

10. Children's Privacy

LEMOON is designed for a general audience and is not directed to children below the minimum age required to use the Services.

Users must be at least 13 years old, or meet any higher minimum age required in their country, to create an Account and use LEMOON.

We may request your date of birth to determine whether you meet the applicable age requirement.

If a User indicates an age below the required minimum, access to the Services may be restricted.

We do not knowingly collect or process personal information from children below the applicable minimum age without any consent required by law. If we become aware that such information has been collected improperly, we may take steps to delete it and restrict the associated Account.
